A Look Back!

For the second time in 2025 Team US was victorious at a CanAm event. Similar to the Park CanAm the results were close after the first round of games but Team US grew stronger as the day progressed. After two games they passed the Canuks then continued building a lead the Canadians could not contest. Congrats and thank you to the US Captains, Steve Poseler and Steve Slankard on creating and coaching a winning squad. 

Excellent turnout for the bowling event with over 100 bowlers. Thank you for coming out!  Organizing a tournament for that many bowlers is no easy task. A big thank you to Gord and Lynn Robertson for serving as captains for the Canadian squad. 

Once again our Tournament Director, Laverne, had things under control and running on schedule. 

From early morning coffee to the end of banquet tear down and clean up, it took a lot of help from the membership. ‘Many hands make for light work’ was definitely a theme with the amount of help offered.  

Excellent feedback on the quality and quantity of the Olive Garden offering for dinner. Sounds like Carolyn and Nancy made a great decision on the catering option. And from what I hear the membership was hungry….devouring all the entrees!
